Lavinia Week - Pauline Wheeler

lavinia p1Hi everyone, welcome to another post with our DT.  This week we are featuring the absolutely gorgeous Lavinia stamps.  I love working with these and have quite a collection!!

Anyway, today we have Pauline's project.  A beautiful card using Lavinia stamps with embossing powder.

Here is how Pauline made her card -

1.  Fold an A4 white card to make A5 tent fold card and cut three panels of white then black then silver cardstock. Start with the white and make the others a half centimetre bigger each way....

2.  Dust the left side of the white panel with an antistatic pad and stamp the Star Cluster with Versamark Ink. Make sure the opening of the cluster is facing to the right.  Cover the image with embossing powder and heat emboss....

3.  Stamp the Believe in black ink in the opening of the cluster....

4.  Now stamp the mushrooms,  again in black ink, through the cluster....

5.  Press the Versamark ink lightly on the edges of the card and dip them into the embossing powder then heat emboss....

6.  Stamp the cluster in the top left corner of the folded card and again heat emboss....

7.  Now layer the stamped panel on to the black card.  Add 3d pads to raise it and stick this to the silver layer.  Then add this to the card....
8.  Add a row of gems to the right hand side to finish.

Clean and Simple with glitter on the side! That touch of sparkle transforms the card, which is otherwise very sober.
