Paper Piecing, Weaving, Folding Week - Pauline Wheeler

p1

Hi everyone, I hope you are not snowed in wherever you may be, we still haven't had any here yet but they are threatening it later!  Today it is Pauline's turn to show us her paper weaving project.  She has made a beautiful double layout using Kaisercraft papers.

This is how Pauline made her beautiful layouts.....

This is a double layout using Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony and Coredinations Cardstock.

I have used both sides of each of the two papers.

p3

1.  Cut out the required pieces and ink the edges with Dried Marigold Distress Ink.

2.  Cut all but the two narrow script strips in half.

p4

3.  Place the strips as shown , weave them and stick in place.

p5

4.  Punch three flowers and ink the edges then add to the strip. Cut a 3.5" x 4" panel of floral paper and add the tag then stick to top right of the page
Add a small paper flower.

p6

5.  Cut a 5" square of floral paper and add the photo.

p7

6.  Repeat the weaving for the second page. Punch five butterflies from the paper and add onto the layout. 3d the message panel.

p8

7.  Repeat the square for the photo and layer the remaining panels.

What Pauline used -

Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony

Coredinations Cardstock

Distress Ink - Dried Marigold

Punches - Flower and Butterfly

I'm sure you will agree this is a beautiful double page layout.

A lovely way to use your papers and especially for using up small scraps that we always have tons off.  I bet none of you like to throw away scraps and the pile gets bigger and bigger.......

Don't forget we are moving the blog as from February to

www.thecraftbarnblog.blogspot.co.uk

I shall be back tomorrow with a creation by Dawn,
